After meeting your driver, you will depart the city for the hacienda located 30 minutes drive from the port. Upon arrival, you will fill out a waiver and have a short safety orientation. Helmets are available for those wishing one during the ride. Based on your experience, you will be matched up with your horse. You'll have a quick practice with the horses before setting out.

You will head out along lagoons and crossing coastal plain on the first hour of your ride. During this portion, your guide will also tell you some of the history of the ranch. A stop will be made to stretch and enjoy a bottle of water.
