Tour Details

Take this scenic Chicago Segway tour around the city’s haunted sites – if you dare. This Chicago ghost tour takes you around Millennium Park and other points of interest that have seen their share of death and disaster. If you’ve always wanted to witness another side of Chicago’s storied past, here’s your chance. Your tour guides will recount frightening tales about Al Capone, the 1903 Iroquois Theatre Fire, and other notable events and figures. Ready for a frighteningly good time?

You’ll begin your Chicago tour at Millennium Park, where you’ll meet your group and guide. From there, you’ll ride your Segway over to Grant Park for a look at Buckingham Fountain, one of the largest fountains in the world. Once there, your guide will tell you about the famous gangster Al Capone and how his ghost is said to have haunted the old Lexington Hotel, where he ran his operation. Many onlookers observed his glimmering form through the hotel windows until the building was razed in the 1990s. After hearing this story and more from your tour guide, you’ll continue your Chicago Segway tour through downtown.

Aside from hearing Chicago ghost tales, you’ll also learn about the tragic disasters that have affected the city. One of the biggest disasters was the 1903 Iroquois Theatre Fire. The fire killed more than 600 people and is considered the deadliest single-building fire in U.S. history. A lack of extinguishers, sprinklers, and water connections as well as confusing exit routes contributed to the large death toll in the theatre. Following your stop at Death Alley – an infamous passage behind the building where more than 150 bodies were found – you’ll make your way to two more disaster sites: that of the Eastland Disaster and the Fort Dearborn Massacre.

Looking for the spookiest tour in the Windy City? Want to ride around Chicago instead of taking a walking tour? Book your Chicago haunted Segway tour today for an unforgettable history lesson.
