Discover the beauty of Tallinn in a truly unique way – with a guided bicycle tour. A bicycle tour allows you to see the city’s many highlights while enjoying fresh air and getting a little bit of exercise.
Your first stop is the magnificent summer residence of Peter the Great - Kadriorg Palace. Kadriog Palace was built in 1718 by tsar Peter I and named for his beloved wife Catherine. Today the beautifully red and white adorned palace is home to Estonia’s President as well as the foreign art collection of the Estonian Art Museum.
Adjacent to the palace you will ride through the palace’s splendid park and gardens. This is one of many excellent photo opportunities during your tour. Departing the gardens, you will pedal to the Song Ground Festival where Estonians sang themselves to independence under a huge song arch. You will also see the nearby Maarjamäe World War II memorial.
Departing the War Memorial you will cycle along the scenic seaside from the beach towards Old Town. Upon reaching Old Town you will pedal along its ancient walls as you head to the town hall square. During your journey you will get a view of the charming streets of this very unique district. Cobblestones, courtyards, shops and markets make up this beautiful Medieval area, where you will experience an atmosphere dating back to the 12th century. Once you reach the center of the Old Town, also known as the old marketplace, Town Hall Square, and the Town Hall itself, which is the best-preserved Medieval town hall in Northern Europe, you will have free time for shopping, exploring and having a snack. Departing Old Town, you will return to the ship pier.
Ride Along guests (max 70 pounds) will be accommodated in a trailer attached behind the bike.
