This exciting tour takes you on a short 15 minute drive south of Roseau through the picturesque village of Pointe Michel to the diving facility at Champagne Reef.

Champagne is Dominica’s premier diving and snorkeling site and rates among the top five snorkeling sites in the Caribbean. Underwater geothermal springs vent gasses in the form of thousands of warm bubbles giving you a feeling of swimming through a giant glass of Champagne. And that’s not all – the reef here is quite spectacular where you can expect to see a myriad of sea life including sponges, lobster, parrot fish and a resident population of Hawksbill turtles and green turtles. You may also view sea horses and the remains of the 17th century Spanish shipwreck (cannons & chain links).

Upon arrival at the dive shop, you will be outfitted with high quality diving gear and given an orientation of the facility and the adventure that awaits you on the reef.

You will swim out to the reef right from the shore. Your one tank dive of the reef is led by a professional PADI certified “dive master” who will instruct you on the correct use of your gear and brief you on what you are likely to see and experience once in the water.

After your tour you can enjoy the comfort and convenience of the dive center with showers changing rooms, refreshments, gift shop and a sundeck overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Sea.
